CCBC has been moving forward.  There is an exciting momentum apparent as the process of searching for a new pastor continues, while new ministry is beginning and new leadership is being raised up to lead it.

The Search committee has narrowed down their selection to six candidates.  They are in the process of further discerning those individuals for suitability and call.  It won’t be long before they will be inviting one of them to come visit, meet the folks, see the town, and preach for the church.

In the meantime, work has progressed significantly in developing the new ministry called HomePort Coffeeshop.  The purpose is to be a pleasant, sit-down coffeeshop; a place where you can come and hang out.  Once it is established,  we hope to add HomePort Worship–a late Saturday night worship experience for young adults.
